Summer Housing: May 9-July 30
Summer Housing will be located in Miller Hall from May 9 until July 30, 2026.
Move-in dates and room type preferences will be accommodated based on availability.
Deadline to request Summer Housing: Thursday, April 30, 2026
All residents assigned to Miller for the Summer Session must vacate by July 30, 2026.
Important Dates:
- Current Spring Residents will remain in their Spring room until Sunday, May 17, then relocate to Miller Hall for Summer Session housing.
- The earliest move-in date for new Summer Session students is Sunday, May 17, 2026.
Summer Session Housing – Miller Hall Details
- Check-In: You will check in at the Miller Area Desk, located in the 1st floor lobby of Miller Hall.
- Housing Charges: Summer housing charges and any fees (lost access cards, cleaning, damages, etc.) will be posted to your student account in GrizPortal.
- Room Furnishings: Rooms include a standard twin-size bed (not extra-long), dresser, desk, closet, chair, bookshelf, overhead light, trashcan, and Ethernet connection. For amenities, description and photos of Miller Hall, see the Miller Hall Residence Description.
- Air Conditioning: Air conditioning is not available and air conditioning units are prohibited – residents are encouraged to bring a fan.
- Laundry: Miller Hall provides complimentary washers and dryers for residents only.
- Parking: A parking permit is required to park on campus for students and guests. Register through the .
Summer Session Access
Miller, Pantzer, and Turner residents:
Your room and outdoor access for May 9-17 (spring assignment) and your summer assignment in Miller will be added to your mobile credentials for the approved housing dates.
Spring residents not assigned to Miller, Pantzer, and Turner:
Visit your Spring Semester Area Desk between May 4-8 to sign out an access card for your current assignment (May 9-17).
May 17 Move-In:
On May 17, you will check into Miller Hall. Room and outdoor access for your approved Summer Session dates will be added to your mobile credentials (Griz Card).
Spring Checkout:
After moving out of your Spring assignment, make sure to complete a proper checkout by signing a checkout envelope at your area desk.
You will check in at the Miller Area Desk. The office is located in the 1st floor lobby of Miller Hall. You will be issued an access card for your summer room.
