Schedule
A typical day for Levels 1 and 2 will consist of five hours of instruction and cultural activities and one hour for lunch. (Lunch is not covered by the grant; thus, students are expected to bring their lunch with them or buy it on campus.) For Level 3, a typical day will consist of three hours of instruction and cultural activities. Level 3 students will join Levels 1 and 2 during cultral events. Please see the schedule that will be posted on this webpage later.
Cultural activities will allow students to apply the language and cultural skills acquired through activities that require movement, such as games, dances, etc. Students from all levels will converge in cultural and extracurricular activities, such as viewing short documentaries, learning how to dance, interacting with other native speakers of Arabic, learning through games, music, role-playing, etc. This will allow students from all levels to meet and interact with one another. This session will also be used to have students work in small groups, monitored by an instructor/TA.
