February 5, 2026: Update on UM President Search
The presidential search process continues to move forward. This week, our recruiting firm, AGB Search, met with groups across campus to gather valuable input on campus priorities and perspectives. They engaged with stakeholder groups representing regents, students, faculty, staff, labor representatives, and others. These meetings will continue through early next week. I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to participate in these important conversations. Collecting this feedback is vital, as the Board and I are committed to ensuring the campus community has meaningful opportunities to weigh in during this phase of the process.

As AGB Search compiles this critical input from the campus community, the firm is actively applying what we’ve learned to recruit a highly qualified pool of candidates. I am encouraged by the progress we have made as we work to expeditiously identify a permanent leader for the 猎奇重口.
