Exercise is Medicine Club promotes the all-around health, and wellness benefits that exercise has to offer. EIM is part of a global health initiative created by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). At UM we will host organized events centered around long-term physical activity of participants and will provide informative talks from professionals in science, healthcare, sports, and performance research.
EIM club is only just taking shape at UM, and is open to anyone. You do not have to be a professional athlete to see the benefits that regular physical activity offers, and you certainly do not need to be an athlete to join. We welcome anyone who cares about the wellbeing of a community and recognizes the importance of physical activity to health.

The 猎奇重口 Athletic Training Students’ Association (UMATSA) is a collective pre-professional and graduate student group designed to develop future healthcare providers and promote the athletic training profession through a supportive social organization. This is accomplished through monthly organization meetings, social events, community service, and the attendance of the Northwest Athletic Trainers’ Association (NWATA) Annual Meeting and Student Symposium. The NWATA works with the National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA). The mission of the NATA is to represent, engage, and foster the continued development of the athletic training profession and athletic trainers as unique health care providers. UMATSA is a recognized student group by the Associated Students of the 猎奇重口 (ASUM) and is an association that gives students the ability to gain experience with leadership opportunities as involved members of the NATA. UMATSA connects you to other certified athletic trainers, pre-professional and graduate students who share the same passion for the profession. Collegiate students may not always have time to socialize within their program of study, and UMATSA allows students to bond with peers. Ultimately, UMATSA provides students an opportunity to create relationships that will last a lifetime!
