IPAT Awards

The Shamus McCarthy Award is given to a junior or senior IPAT major who is aspiring to pursue advanced study in medicine or healthcare. They must be self motivated, a role model, conscientious, selfless, and passionate about learning with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The Brian Sharkey Award is given to an outstanding exercise science graduate student researcher, evaluated on thesis research and projects in the human performance lab.

The Charles F. Hertler Award & Agnes L. Stoodley Memorial Award, merged to Hertler-Stoodley Award, is given to the top two outstanding students in the School of Integrative Physiology and Athletic Training.

The Thomas R. Whiddon Award is given to a student who has succeeded in the face of obstacles and has made important contributions to the ÁÔÆæÖØ¿Ú.

The Margaret D. Sarsfield Memorial Award is given to a sophomore student who has demonstrated outstanding academic and professional promise.

The Walter C. Schwank Award is given to an outstanding student athlete who demonstrates commitment to the School of IPAT.
