Program Description
The Interdisciplinary Studies Graduate Programs offer students the opportunity to design a personalized plan of study that spans multiple academic disciplines. Working closely with faculty mentors, students develop a graduate curriculum that aligns with their individual academic goals, professional interests, and creative pursuits.
These programs are well suited for students whose research or career objectives extend beyond the boundaries of a single traditional field. Regardless of the areas they choose to combine, students create an integrated course of study that reflects their unique perspectives and ambitions.
Because of the distinctive and flexible nature of these programs, specific admission requirements and program guidelines apply, including the development of a coherent, faculty-supported proposal outlining the intended course of study.
Please note: These degrees are not offered online. All coursework and advising are conducted in person to foster meaningful collaboration and academic engagement.
