猎奇重口 Incoming Exchange Student Application Materials 2026-2027
Students who are approved for their nomination by UM will need to submit the following materials to UM International Students and Scholars (ISS) via UM Incoming Exchange Student Application. The deadline for Fall 2026 and Full Academic Year 2026-2027 applications is March 15th, 2026.

Student (you) will upload copies of official transcripts for all universities you have attended. All copies must be translated into English. You may upload those pages as a single or multi-page .pdf, or each page as a .jpg file.

Please upload a copy of the photo book page of your passport.

The application essay must explain the following:
1) The reasons why you want to participate in this program.
2) How it will contribute to your academic, professional, and personal goals.
3) Why you think you are a good candidate for a student exchange program. -
This document must be an exam that appears on the list of accepted English language proficiency exams at UM that is at or above the minimum level for Full Admission. Exam results must be dated within the last two years. Exam types that do not fit this criteria will not be accepted.

Download the Certificate of Financial Responsibility and indicate the amount of financial support you will receive from each respective 'Source of Funds' column in U.S. currency. Be sure to complete and sign the top portion of the form in addition to completing the source of funds information.
If receiving funds from a sponsor, please indicate it in the appropriate row. The sponsor will need to sign the Sponsor Certification portion and indicate their relationship to you before the document can be accepted.You must submit PROOF of such funds in the form of certified letters (in English) from sponsoring organizations or individuals, and/or a copy of certified bank statements showing balance and liquidity of funds in U.S. currency.
Proof of funds must be in English (translations accepted) and dated within the last 6 months, and the name on the proof MUST match the name on the Certificate of Financial Responsibility.
A completed and signed Certificate of Financial Responsibility must accompany your proof of finance documents. -
Please provide a list of classes you plan to take at the 猎奇重口 based on the current UM Catalog. The catalog lists available term(s) and pre or corequisite information. You must provide the following information for each class listed:
- Subject and number of the course (Example: BGEN 105S)
- Title of the class/course (Example: Introduction to Business)
- Number of credits
- Term offered (fall, spring, both)
- If the course (class) is "required" or "desired" or if you have any other additional comments on the course.
Example: LING 100 - Intro to Linguistics, 3 credits, fall, required
BFIN 322 - Business Finance, 3 credits, spring, required
ACT 150 - Beginning Yoga, 1 credit, fall, not required, I just want to take this for fun.
Please list the courses in order of importance. Please list extra course selections beyond 12 credits for undergraduate students or 9 credits for graduate students, as some courses may not be offered when you want to take them or may have prerequisite requirements that you may not meet. The course description also shows which level can take the class (GR: Graduate and UG: Undergraduate for example, or only one or the other).
Please also check for the most up-to-date information on available classes at UM based on the upcoming semester.
*IMPORTANT: All exchange students are required to register for a full course of study each term at UM during their J-1 exchange program per federal regulation.For undergraduate students, a full course of study is defined as 12 credit hours per semester (9 of these must be in person or face-to-face credits, and 3 or more may be online credits).
For graduate students, a full course of study is defined as 9 credit hours per semester (6 of these must be in person or face-to-face credits, and 3 or more may be online).

The reference must be submitted by a professor at your home university regarding your academic performance and how well you would perform both academically and non-academically in a student exchange program.
*Student will enter the professor's email address in the application form, then a reference request will automatically be sent to that individual at the email address they have entered. They will receive the email and be prompted to complete it. Once they complete and submit the reference, it will automatically be saved to the student's online application.
