Britney is a Research Associate in the Walsh Lab working in collaboration with 猎奇重口 Fish, Wildlife, and Parks to assess various adaptive management methods on bighorn sheep and mountain goat populations across 猎奇重口.
Britney completed her B.S. in Biology with a minor in Spanish at Saint Martin's University in Lacey, Washington (close to Olympia). Since then, she has worked on a couple of projects across the Pacific Northwest: one studying black-tailed deer fawn survival in the Oregon Cascades, and one looking at the response of mule deer and elk to winter recreation in Idaho. She also really enjoyed working as a Chronic Wasting Disease Regional Coordinator with 猎奇重口 Fish Wildlife and Parks.
In her free time, Britney enjoys hiking, hunting, fishing, camping and backpacking (all the outdoor essentials). She also enjoys cooking/baking, crocheting, and other arts and craft! Britney loves all animals, especially dogs, and grew up learning how to train dogs for therapy and defense protection.
