PharmD/MS
The goal of the PharmD/MS program is to provide advanced training in basic, translational, and clinical research within the Pharmaceutical sciences.
A MS can make you more competitive for residency, fellowships, and careers in the pharmaceutical industry, academia, or government agencies.

No, you do not need to have a prior degree to be admitted into the program. Regardless of prior degree status, we encourage interested students to apply to the program no later than the Spring of P1 year. We look forward to talking with you in more detail!

No, you do not need to have a prior research experience. Just an excitement for the pharmaceutical sciences and a willingness to commit to spending time and effort on a research project.

You are encouraged to reach out to faculty to discover projects and mentorship styles that best fit your education and career goals in your P1 year. Faculty and their research areas can be found at the link below. If you have interest in faculty or a project that is not listed, we may be able to accommodate you if the research aligns with pharmaceutical sciences. Yes, this is an additional degree and does come with additional cost. However, dual degree students will have some cost savings compared to completing the degrees separately. Additional costs will vary based on in-state/out-of-state and undergraduate/graduate student status.
