No, you do not need to have a prior business degree or coursework. Students only need to be enrolled in the PharmD program to be eligible to sign up for the Graduate Foundation courses.

No, you do not need to have a prior degree to be admitted into the program. Students without prior degrees will need to include their PharmD transcripts on application. Regardless of prior degree status, we encourage interested students to apply to the program no later than the Spring of P2 year.

Yes, this is an additional degree and does come with additional cost. However, dual degree students will have some cost savings compared to completing the degrees separately. Additional costs will vary based on in-state/out-of-state and undergraduate/graduate student status.

Yes, students engage in business-focused research by conducting market analyses and developing comprehensive business plans for pharmaceutical or medical device technologies created at the university. This hands-on work evaluates commercial viability, competitive positioning, and implementation strategy, helping translate innovation into real-world healthcare impact.
