MOSSAIC (Mentoring, Organization, and Social Support or Autism/All Inclusion on Campus) is a program designed for people with autism that have been accepted to the 猎奇重口 or Missoula College. We offer:
Social Evenings
Making friends on campus can be hard. If you would like to join our social evenings, we meet on Wednesdays from 6:00-8:00 on campus (location to be determined). This group is student led under the supervision of the MOSSAIC Director. If you are interested in applying to be part of the social evenings, please complete the following application:
Executive Functioning Peer Support Group
Some people experience difficulties with executive function (ability to plan, organize, and execute) to support their time learning on campus. This group will meet Mondays on campus (time and location to be determined). This group is hosted by college peers under the supervision and training of the MOSSAIC Director. Your application may result in a) an invite to the weekly peer group and/or b) a recommendation to a community speech-language pathologist to address more complex needs.

The MOSSAIC program has three essential pieces that help shape the program's goals and execution.
Weekly Social Evenings Wednesdays 6:00 - 8:00 pm
Wednesdays 6:00-8:00 pm are opportunities for students to gather in safe and fun space! Some past events have included:
- Dinner and a movie
- Wire wrapping art
- Game night
- Puppy party
- Pumpkin carving
- Trivia for us by us
- Hiking

Students participating in weekly socials pay $25 per semester.
Weekly Executive Functioning Support Group Mondays
This group is designed to support learners that have difficulties with planning, organization, and execution critical for academic success. Time and location to be determined.

Jennifer K. Schoffer Closson, Ed. D, CCC-SLP
Dr. Jennifer Schoffer Closson is the director of the MOSSAIC program, the YETI program, and co-director of the MIND Lab, and is an associate clinical professor for the School of Speech, Language, Hearing and Occupational Sciences. She is committed to teaching and providing evidence-based interventions for learners that experience autism and related disorders. Just as important, she is committed to helping people create neurodiverse-affirming and sensory-friendly inclusive spaces so everyone can learn, thrive, relate, and explore.
