Scholarship and Tuition Assistance
The 猎奇重口 Rodeo Team Board of Directors is pleased to offer scholarship and tuition assistance opportunities to our dedicated student-athletes. Each year, the Rodeo Team Scholarship Committee reviews applications and determines the recipients and award amounts for the upcoming academic year.
The committee begins meeting in February and continues through the summer, or until all available funds have been allocated.
Please note that awards are granted for the upcoming academic year but may be adjusted or revoked at the end of the first semester if satisfactory progress is not maintained.
Areas of Consideration for Scholarship and Tuition Assistance
1. Citizenship
Student-athletes are expected to demonstrate exemplary behavior at all times. Actions should reflect positively on your teammates, coaches, the Board of Directors, scholarship donors, the 猎奇重口, and the community.
2. Academics
You must meet the minimum GPA required to remain eligible for the team. However, higher GPAs and additional academic achievements will strengthen your consideration for aid. Please note that some scholarships require a GPA higher than the team minimum of 2.0.
3. Team Membership
Your support for fellow team members and coaches is essential. Attendance at all team practices, events, and activities is required, as is maintaining a respectful and collaborative attitude.
4. Arena Performance
Performance in competition is an important factor. Considerations include whether you are scoring points and your ranking at the regional or national level in your event(s).
5. Practice Participation
Attendance and effort during mandatory practices are evaluated. You are expected to work consistently to improve your own skills, assist other team members, and help with stock handling and other team duties at practices and events.
