Museum Studies Certificate students who have completed a minimum of four of their five seminar classes are eligible to complete their Capstone field project. Students can work with faculty to build on the work of a Museum Studies class or they may work with a partnering institution with MMAC approval.
The Capstone course requires students to implement a project of their own creation, such as an archives organization system; they will then complete a final presentation for Museum Studies faculty. Capstone projects may be completed on a flexible timeline during spring semester, with presentations scheduled from April 23-28, 2026.
