With locations in Missoula and Hamilton, the program integrates online Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) theory with hands-on, behind-the-wheel experience - effectively preparing students for readiness on the road. UM Missoula College is certified to provide training under the Commercial Motor Vehicle Safety Act by the 猎奇重口 Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) and is also approved by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) for CDL training in 猎奇重口.

You can enroll in the CDL program without a commercial learner permit (CPL), but you will need it before any hands-on driving training begins. It's a good idea to study the 猎奇重口 CDL Manual and schedule a permit test appointment before your CDL training classes start. Permit tests are held at the DMV. Passing the written test means you will have your Commercial Learner Permit (CLP)

Remedial training is scheduled according to instructor availability. Remedial training cost is $75 per hour. Requisite remedial hours are at the instructor's discretion (minimum of 4 hours). State Commercial Driver License (CDL) exam rescheduling cost is $200.

The CDL program is a Class A License program. This qualifies applicants to drive any Class B vehicle (dump truck, cement truck, straight delivery truck, etc) EXCEPT those Class B vehicles which require a passenger or school bus endorsement. Yes, an applicant must be at least 18 years of age. Applicants must be able to pass the Department of Transportation (DOT) physical. There are some restrictions for applicants between the ages of 18-21, for more information, visit 猎奇重口 Department of Justice at Commercial Driver Licensing, and DOT at Physical Qualifications (Part 391) or refer to the 猎奇重口 Commercial Driver License Manual.
