  • Overview and Welcome

    The Language Testing Center at the 猎奇重口, in partnership with Language Testing International (LTI) and the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL), offers official ACTFL-aligned proficiency assessments in over 100 languages. These tests gauge language proficiency to support academic, professional, or personal goals by certifying an individual's speaking, listening, reading, and/or writing proficiency in a particular language. Proficiency scores can be delivered as ACTFL, ILR, or CEFR scores to support academic placement, teacher licensure, professional certification, credit-by-proficiency, government training validation, or other purposes.

  • All test registrations are handled through LTI’s secure platform. To test at the UM–DCLCP site:

    1. Visit:
    2. Choose your test and language
    3. Select “I am a student or teacher…” under academic programs
    4. When prompted for an institution, select:
      “猎奇重口 – DCLCP”
    5. Choose “Test at a Physical Location”
    6. Select your date and time, and complete payment
    7. You will receive a confirmation email. DCLCP will coordinate local proctoring.

  • Testing prices are set by LTI and vary by test type and format.
    Approximate academic rates include:

    • OPI: $145 + $20 if remote protoring is required
    • OPIc: $73 + $35 if remote protoring is required
    • RPT/LPT: $31 per test + $20 if remote protoring is required
    • WPT: $73 +35 if remote protoring is required

    Cancellation/rescheduling fees may apply if less than 24–72 hours’ notice is given.

  • All exams are securely proctored at the DCLCP Testing Center, located in the Mansfield Library on the 猎奇重口 campus in Missoula. Our staff are trained to administer ACTFL assessments in full compliance with national standards.

    Remote proctoring is also available upon request and with an additional fee for students located off-site.
