Parking and Transportation Options
Parking on the UM Campus
To park on the UM Campus close to the University Center, park in Lots A, F, and Parking Structure R (level 1 and 3). These lots are on Campus Drive on the east side of campus. See Parking Map (JPG).
Parking Permits
If you plan to park on the UM campus, YES, you need to buy a parking permit for $8 a day. This applies to vendors, presenters, and attendees. Because there is no registration fee for this summit, we cannot cover parking permits this year. You have the option to purchase these daily passes through Passport Parking App for convenience or directly through the by following the parking permit purchase instructions.
Walking from the Double Tree Edgewater Hotel:
The distance from the Double Tree Edgewater Hotel to the University Center is 0.9 miles. This is estimated to be a 20 minute walk.
Coordinated Group Walk: If you’d like to walk with a group, meet in the lobby of the Double Tree Edgewater Hotel at 8 A.M. on Tuesday and/or Wednesday. The group will leave at 8:05 A.M. The route will cross the Riverfront Trail bridge south toward campus. Then will There is one section of sidewalk between the Adams Center and McGill hall that is a bit steep. Sidewalks are wide with multiple places to pull off and rest. If you need a more accessible route, talk to the walking guide and the group will take an alternative route.
Park & Ride Bus System
If you’d like to take the bus from a free parking lot, us the 猎奇重口 Park & Ride Bus option. Review options at the UM Park & Ride Webpage.
Quick Stop Drop Off parking spaces
If you are being dropped off or if you need to drop off materials for your vendor table, UM offers 20-minute Quick Stop Drop Off parking spaces near the University Center. Vendors and attendees can use these as needed before reparking.
