Our Charge
The 猎奇重口’s Advisory Council on Inclusive Access and Success (ACIAS) fosters Inclusive Prosperity by promoting broad educational access and success. The ACIAS monitors, supports, and provides counsel regarding the University’s efforts to create a learning and working environment in which all people – no matter their backgrounds, hometowns, life experiences, religious beliefs, abilities, economic circumstance, personal and social identities, or political views – experience a UM learning and working environment that cultivates belonging and robust intellectual growth.

Section I - The DAC membership includes:
- Faculty
- Two (2) positions to be filled via Faculty Senate nomination
- Staff
- Two (2) positions to be filled via Staff Senate nomination
- Students
- Two (2) positions to be filled from student groups via ASUM nomination
- Administrator
- Director of Organizational Culture
- Program/Office Representatives
- Four (4) representatives (may be faculty, staff, or administrators) from any of the following units or any other unit that may provide valuable perspective:
- American Indian Student Support Services
- Intercollegiate Athletics
- Office of Disability Equity
- Office of Conflict, Policy, and Resolution
- Global Engagement
- TRiO Student Support Services/TRiO Upward Bound
- Military and Veteran Services Office
- Four (4) representatives (may be faculty, staff, or administrators) from any of the following units or any other unit that may provide valuable perspective:
Section II - Elections and Co-Chairs
- Council faculty co-chair, staff co-chair, student co-chair, secretary, and treasurer will be elected at the last meeting of the current academic year for the next academic year by the whole council.
- The co-chairs consist of one faculty member, one staff member or administrator, and one student. The co-chairs stagger their terms to allow for continuity within the council. Terms are available for renewal once.
- The Faculty Co-Chair will be elected on even years
- The Staff Co-Chair will be elected on odd years
- The Student Co-Char will be elected every year

- Treasurer - will be elected/confirmed every year
- Grant Administrator - will be elected/confirmed every year
Section III - Member voting guidelines
- Decisions concerning financial or policy issues require a vote of members and other topics require a consensus of the meeting attendees.
- On occasion voting will be conducted via email, but requires a window of five working days to submit a vote. On a case by case basis, the required five working day window will be waived if a vote is needed to resolve an urgent matter.
- Quorum is necessary for all decisions and is determined to be the number of members present each meeting.
