Shipping Items for Move-In

Planning ahead? Great! Great! You’re welcome to ship your items early using the program. This convenient service ensures your belongings are safely delivered and waiting for you when you arrive.

Please note:

We’re unable to accept packages sent directly to your campus mailing address before August 18 or your official move-in date—whichever comes first. To avoid any issues, please use the Storage Scholars program for early shipments.

Special Info for Early Arrivals:

  • Pre-approved student-athletes arriving in early August: your Storage Scholars packages will be delivered to your Area Desk on August 1.
  • All other students: your packages will be delivered directly to your room on August 11, so everything is ready when you move in!

How Ship to School Works at UM

1. Ship Boxes from Home

Send Storage Scholars your own boxes or they can ship you a kit of empty boxes to make packing easier. FedEx can even pick-up from your house!

2. Buy Online and Ship

Shop online and put the Storage Scholars facility as your shipping address.

3. They Receive and Notify You

Each package is scanned in with a photo and you get a text and email confirmation of its arrival.

4. Delivery in Room

Their team will deliver everything to your Area Desk (for early arrivals with arrival dates before August 11) on August 1 or to your room on August 11.

Receiving Mail After You Officially Check-in to Your Room

A student's mailing address consists of their first and last name on the first line, their room number and hall on the second line, and Missoula, MT 59801 on the third line. Do not include "猎奇重口" in the mailing address, as this will delay delivery. For example:
