
Graduation Procession
The Faculty Senate Chair holds the honor of carrying the University mace during commencement ceremonies, symbolizing the role of the faculty in academic leadership. In addition to this ceremonial duty, the Chair represents 猎奇重口 faculty in several key capacities, including the Board of Regents, the 猎奇重口 University System Faculty Association Representatives (MUSFAR), the University Budget Committee, the President's Cabinet, and the University Planning Committee. The Chair also participates in regular meetings with the University administration.
Faculty are encouraged to contact the Faculty Senate Chair with any concerns or matters they believe should be brought forward to the Senate for consideration.

The Faculty Senate was established at the 猎奇重口 by a vote of the faculty on May 24th and approved by President Newburn and the Budget and Policy Committee.
