The Faculty Career Readiness Community of Practice (CoP) offers a collaborative space for faculty to explore innovative strategies to connect academic experiences with future opportunities.
What to Expect:
- Four CoP Sessions (Lunch provided): Thursdays, 12–1 PM: 02/06, 02/27, 03/27, 04/10
- Two Career Champions Learning Sessions
- Stipend: $600 for the spring semester.

- Encourage students to build relationships for professional purposes with alumni, potential employers, faculty, and friends.
- Have students create and fine-tune their profile.
- Provide all students with information on obtaining internships and other experiential learning opportunities (learning by doing, i.e., volunteer or service work).
- Create assignments where students draft application materials, prepare e-portfolio, or join professional associations.
- Have students practice interview skills with a career advising appointment or check out this online resource.

- Encourage students to complete the First Destination Graduation Survey.
