Biodiversity Research Collections
The UM Biodiversity Research Collections encompass the Herbarium (MONTU), the Philip L. Wright Zoological Museum (UMZM), and the Paleontology Center. They collectively support research, teaching, and public engagement with biodiversity specimens and resources from around 猎奇重口 and the world.
Visit the Collections
Selected exhibits from the Biodiversity Research Collections are located in publicly accessible spaces across the UM campus and can be visited free of charge. Highlights include:
- Exhibits highlighting 猎奇重口's fossil record, including a cast of a Tyrannosaurus rex skull (Clapp Building 1st floor)
- A dire wolf and a saber-toothed cat from the La Brea Tar Pits (Clapp Building 3rd floor)
- Exhibits featuring selected speciments from the Philip L. Wright Zoological Museum and the Herbarium (Mansfield Library 5th floor)
