Program Format:
Summer Exploration 2026 offers both a residential and commuter option. Students can choose the experience that best fits their needs.
Eligibility:
We are looking for mature, academically motivated students who are entering their sophomore, junior or senior year in fall 2026, or seniors graduating in spring 2026.
How to Apply:
Complete and submit the online application in one sitting and select Residential or Commuter. You will also be asked to provide the following:
- Parent/Guardian Consent. You must have their approval to apply.
- Unofficial High School Transcript. This can include progress reports or report cards.
- Personal Statement. In 500 words or less, you will be asked to share why you want to attend, what you hope to learn, and why this opportunity matters to you. TIP: Write your statement in a separate document first, then copy it into the application.
You will receive an automated email confirmation once your application has been submitted.
Application Tips:
- No fee is required to apply.
- Applications must be completed by the student
- When you apply, consider the two courses offered. You will be asked to rank your preferences. Note: You are applying to the program as a whole, not a specific course.
- Use a desktop or laptop when completing your application to avoid any technical issues.
Admissions & Selection Process:
When considering your application, we will evaluate all information submitted.
- Applications are reviewed on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis.
- You can expect a decision within 10 business days of submitting a completed application.
- Not all admitted students will receive their first-choice course. Space is limited – apply early for the best course placement!
After Acceptance:
Accepted students and their parent/guardian will receive an email that includes:
- Course placement
- Electronic conduct and release forms to be signed by the student and parent/guardian
- Deposit instructions
A $500 deposit is due within 10 business days of acceptance. The remaining balance is due by May 15, 2026.
