Service Saturdays
Service Saturdays are UM-associated service events held on one-to-two Saturdays each month throughout the academic year. On these days, ELCS and participating students assist various Missoula-based non-profits helping them achieve their goals. Previous Service Saturdays have included activities such as socializing cats at AniMeals, serving food at the Poverello Center, harvesting vegetables with Garden City Harvest, and more!
Upcoming Service Saturdays:
April 26th | Grow Gardens for Franklin Elementary!
Franklin's School Garden is growing! Come get your hands dirty with our friends at Missoula County Public Schools (MCPS) and Garden City Harvest to expand Franklin Elementary's School Garden. The Farm to School Program creates school gardens to use as outdoor classrooms, cultivating food and learning across Missoula! And if all that food talk has made you hungry, you're in luck: This Service Saturday comes with free lunch for all volunteers!
