The Experiential Learning and Career Success Office at the 猎奇重口 hosts a variety of career fairs each academic year, giving you the opportunity to meet and connect with motivated students ready to contribute to your organization. Our events offer a direct pipeline to emerging talent across a wide range of majors and career interests.

Registration Opens: July 9th, 2025
This is our most casual job fair of the year, perfect for full-time students seeking part-time jobs and opportunities. It takes place right on The Oval and is a great chance for students to meet with employers who are hiring now, are flexible with schedules, and excited to connect with students exploring their options.

Registration Opens: July 29th, 2025
This fair connects employers with graduating students and those exploring careers in healthcare. Employers with active job openings in any healthcare-related field are encouraged to register.

Registration Opens: December 3rd, 2025
Our Industry and Trades Fair is held at Missoula College West Campus and supports students studying in the Industrial Tech program.

Registration Opens: January 5th, 2026
The annual Hire Griz! Spring Career Fair is our largest event of the year. While open to all students, it primarily serves those seeking post-graduation opportunities. Employers are encouraged to register if they have current openings for graduates or wish to connect with students exploring career paths across a wide range of industries.

Career Fair FAQs

Standard registration (for two representatives) includes:
- One table
- Two chairs
- One parking space
- Light refreshments

The designated parking area is the top level (R-3) of the R Parking Structure. One space per registered employer is included at no extra cost.
See th UM parking Map. R-3 is located near the bottom right hand corner.
*Alternate paid parking is available in marked hourly lots.

This depends on the fair, but generally, students are in the exploratory phase of their career journey. They may not always arrive in formal attire with a polished resume—but they are eager, personable, and ready to engage. Keep the conversation casual and welcoming.

Registration Fees are used for
- Student facing programming and events that are hosted by ELCS
- Supporting venue setup, staffing, refreshments, employer marketing, and student outreach to ensure a smooth and effective fair experience.

- Bring current job/internship opportunities
- Know what your recruitment goals are and how to explain them
- Choose engaging representatives
- You'll have the most success if your representatives are enthusiastic and willing to step out from behind the table to actively engage with students, be sure to invite students over to your table and be comfortable starting conversations.
- Make your booth welcoming:
- Bring table signage, banners, brochures
- Have your business cards handy
- Set up an interactive displays (if you have one)
- lay out your best sustainable swag
- Promote your presence ahead of time:
- Post on Handshake
- Engage with our ELCS
- Plan ahead by reviewing the approval packet and logistics email
- Plan a follow-up strategy. Encourage students to “check-in” on Handshake to keep the conversation going!

- Cancellations received in writing via email prior to three weeks before the date of the fair qualify for a full refund. No refunds will be given after the deadline date.
- If the organization is a "no show," the registration will not be refunded.
- If the organization is a “no show” and is unpaid prior to the day of the fair, the organization will not be permitted to attend future fairs or events with ELCS and UM until the registration is paid.
- Registrations are non-transferable.
- Employer weather related cancellations will not be refunded by ELCS. Should ELCS cancel a career fair due to weather, all employers will be refunded their full registration fee.
- For our fellow UM Departments: We are happy to offer registration at no cost, however, cancellations after the two-week deadline and no-shows, we will be administering a $20 cancellation/no-show fee.
